Lisa was qualified as a state-registered chartered Physiotherapist in 1992 from Bath School of Physiotherapy. She worked in Southampton General Hospital for five years and has since been working as a senior Physiotherapist in Fordingbridge Hospital Outpatient Department as well as in the private sector. She has specialised in musculoskeletal dysfunction and sports injuries. Her skills have been expanded and practised over the years through a continuous policy of professional development and she can offer patients thorough assessments and a wide variety of treatments including acupuncture, which are effective and innovative.
Lisa has been using Pilates as part of her physiotherapy rehabilitation programmes for many years. She qualified as a Pilates instructor in 2003 and has used Pilates as a form of rehabilitation exercise for her patients and herself. She is currently increasing her Pilates training with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute to ensure her patients receive the best follow-up care.
"I believe that with the correct assessment and detailed rehabilitation including Pilates based exercise programs, patients can return from pain and injury to enjoy a full and healthy normal life."
