LISA FITZ-GERALD
Lisa was qualified as a state-registered chartered Physiotherapist in 1992 from Bath School of Physiotherapy. She worked in Southampton General Hospital for five years and has since been working as a senior Physiotherapist in Fordingbridge Hospital Outpatient Department as well as in the private sector. She has specialised in musculoskeletal dysfunction and sports injuries. Her skills have been expanded and practised over the years through a continuous policy of professional development and she can offer patients thorough assessments and a wide variety of treatments including acupuncture, which are effective and innovative.
Lisa has been using Pilates as part of her physiotherapy rehabilitation programmes for many years. She qualified as a Pilates instructor in 2003 and has used Pilates as a form of rehabilitation exercise for her patients and herself. She is currently increasing her Pilates training with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute to ensure her patients receive the best follow-up care.

JAVIER GALDEANO
Javier was qualified as a physiotherapist in 1982 from Barcelona University. He worked in the NHS and private sector including Barcelona Football Club for 3 years and also working with athletes at the Olympic Games in 1992. He has been working in the NHS in England since 1987. He was in Fordingbridge Hospital Outpatient Department for 20 years as a Senior Physiotherapist managing the department until recently he now works as a Muscoskeletal Extended Scope Practitioner in Salisbury Hospital. He has extended his skills and knowledge via continuous professional development, including a Diploma in Biomechanics from Strathclyde University and more recently achieving a Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Science at Southampton University. His interests include sports injuries and back pain. He offers patients through assessments and a variety of treatments such as acupuncture, all based on the most recent evidence based practice.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is a dynamic profession which uses a range of treatment techniques to restore movement and function. At Roundhill our experienced Physiotherapists can offer up to date treatment for back, neck and other musculoskeletal injuries. Working closely with our Pilates teachers means we can offer continuing rehabilitation and prevention of further injuries.
