Malaga is approximately one hour’s drive and offers airport links to many UK major cities including Bournemouth (Thompsonfly) and Southampton (Flybe) with very reasonable fares outside school holidays. Easyjet also fly from Gatwick, Luton and Stanstead and Ryanair fly between Gatwick and Granada. A car is essential as the house lies in a rural area. |

Situated in a private and tranquil location at the end of an unmade road. There is a hamlet within 5 minutes drive with a local store and a bar. The town of Iznajar is a 10 minute drive away and has more comprehensive facilities. The larger town of Rute is less than 15 minutes drive and the furniture-making town of Lucena with a large range of shops and superstores ( including Carrefour) is a 30 minute drive. Also within half an hour is the Roman city of Antequera. |
| The house is located in a rural olive-growing region between the historic and cultural cities of Granada, Seville and Corboda. Located in the central area between these three iconic treasures, the cortijo, on the outskirts of the traditional Andalusian town of Iznajar is ideally placed to explore not only these important landmark cities but also to enjoy the tranquil splendour of the olive-growing countryside and the coastal villages and historic towns of Andalusia, typically reachable within less than an hour’s drive. There are good beaches at Nerja, La Herradura, Torrox and Torre del Mar. |
| Marbella, Fuengirola and Puerto Banus lie between 1 and 2 hours drive. Both Granada and Cordoba are an hour away. |
